As a European it is with huge dismay what is happening in the USA and apparent apathy at what is happening with most US citizens. At some point, probably in the near future the rest of the world and historical allies give up and walk away……it is very close and very dangerous………please wake up!!!!!

Sadly in most other democracies this is a ‘normal’ question journalists should ask an elected politician. In the US it now seems impossible for journalists to do the basics though?

The US steel concession also looks more like a face saving act as the steel is largely specialist and used in US defence applications etc. So the US has negotiated not to penalise itself……the art of the deal!
