The Clink Charity provides a route to rehabilitation while in prison & their work is cutting reoffending rates by 64%. It's vital their work is able to continue & I'm pleased the Minister agreed, committing to reviewing barriers to the charity's future operations.

Time & time again, constituents tell me that floating bus stops are causing injuries & dangerous travel experiences. Not being able to travel independently affects every aspect of your life - from going to work to socialising with friends. We must ensure that everyone can use public transport.

This year I presented my 10 minute rule bill to tackle pavement parking to the House, with @guidedogsuk.bsky.social. I'm hopeful that we can make real progress on this issue as soon as possible.
Cars & e-vehicles parked on pavements are dangerous, a nuisance & make our public spaces less enjoyable. With 36 colleagues, we've written to the Minister asking her to give councils the powers they need to tackle the scourge of pavement parking.

I strongly urge the Met to reconsider the decision to close the front counter at Lavender Hill so that my constituents will safe. I will be monitoring this issue extremely closely.
While the Met will be re-focusing on video appointment provision, this cannot replace face to face interactions particularly when we still need assurances that these tools will be accessible to all members of the public.
It is simply not right that at a time when our police need more resources to tackle serious crimes, that support is being taken away.
Without this, Battersea residents will feel less safe. Just recently, the Met Commissioner for London gave a stark warning that further cuts may mean ‘some crimes must be ignored.’

Every aspect of social security changes must be scrutinised & laid out to Parliament & the public. I pressed the Secretary of State on ensuring Universal Credit rises are kept in line with inflation - I'm glad this has been assured.
