Get well, Mr. Mayor. Whoever did this is dethpicable.

On the evening of August 30, 2025 after taking a wrong turn somewhere near Albuquerque, Mayor Giuliani was involved in a motor vehicle accident. He was flagged down by a giant male rabbit dressed up as an attractive female rabbit who identified themself as having witnessed a “moyder”. Mr. Giuliani remained on scene until a duck and a pig dressed as Old English bobbys arrived.Following this incident, while traveling on the highway, Mayor Giuliani drove into what he thought was a tunnel, but which turned out to be a painting on the side of a mountain. Mayor Giuliani’s vehicle was crushed into the shape of accordion bellows, which emitted musical notes as they expanded and contracted . A flattened Mr. Guilini waddled free from beneath the wreckage, his enlarged teeth emerging from his mouth in the shape of piano keys.HIs business partner was promptly contacted, and he was admitted to Acme Looniversity Hospital, curiously under the care of the same rabbit he encountered earlier. That’s all, folks.F. Oh! Thats a great book! And timely… at least with the Tulip bubble people still had pretty flowers after it was all done. After the AI bubble collapses we’ll be saddled with a lot of polluting data centers.

What’s wild to me: NOW, media outlets & medical organizations are “stunned” by the damage RFK Jr. is doing to CDC, other health agencies, & public health. Me & my colleagues have been screaming about him for years. Years. Even more so in the last year. We were called hyperbolic. 1/

That means he’s going to accelerate what he’s been doing for decades. The Senate ushered that in, knowing full well his history. I’ve written so much about him I’ve organized a section of my newsletter under “RFK Jr” Find them all here ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🔗 news.immunologic.org/t/rfk-jr 🧵

Journalists ignored his well-documented history & wrote flattering articles about him. He’s doing the same shit he has for 40 YEARS. Did you actually think he’d stop being an anti-science profiteer? Of course not. Now he’s got the power and authority of the Federal government behind him. 2/

Can the media STOP referring to Jeffrey Epstein as a “financier”? The money he made came from SEX TRAFFICKING MINORS, RAPING CHILDREN, and BLACKMAIL. He was NOT a financier. I’ve seen at least five stories from three outlets refer to him this way in the past week. This is the latest from the Times:

Not my fault billionaires and the corporations they own are intentionally destroying the planet and the sources of their own profits. Capitalism has its own pathologies and doesn’t need a Lysenko or communism to self destruct. *shrugs*

Corporations used to have their own labs and do some basic research. Nothing stopping them from doing that again. Except they will have to pay for their duds as well as their successes instead of buying proven intellectual property developed at R1 universities with federal money.

Oh, I am definitely not disagreeing about how damaging this is. But, for example, those pharmaceutical and medical device companies could set up their own research labs and pay people to do basic science instead of sponging off the federal government’s largess and Trump could not stop them.

This is not the case in the United States. Yes, the Federal Government has poured a lot of money into science and technology since the 1940s. Yes, Trump’s minions are going to retard US scientific research. But there isn’t going to be anyone like Lysenko because the system isn’t that centralized.

Lysenko did a lot of damage because literally every ruble damn spent on science and every damn decision about agriculture was taken in Moscow, passed through two highly centralized ministries and then implemented by academic leaders & collective farm bosses who belonged to the communist party.
