World Of Our Own? Bop Bop Baby? "Dancey" Take That were at their best with Pray and Promises. Never Forget is epic but stuck between ballad and anthem. Then it's all about their three dancey cover versions.
Also, the other four members of TT have next to entirely no role in terms of backup while Gary warbles away. Good thing they looked pretty while doing so.
A Million Love Songs was on Gary Barlow's teenage demo. The sheen that a professional producer eventually put on it makes it listenable, but it's not a great song. The attempt to rhyme "words" and "scared" still jars.
They're still only interested in berating Angela Rayner because she's risen to deputy PM "despite" being a female, northern, working class left winger who had a baby when she was a teenager and gives no shits whatsoever.
This is great. As they all are.
I've never believed that BFG was anything other than a Barlow song. Even Noel Gallagher likes it.

On #Forgotten80s two weeks ago. Going by my socials, Megablast seems to be the one record that temporarily makes 80s dance music sceptics believe.
There's a guy doing a very bombastic "end of the world is nigh" lecture just outside Stratford tube station. I briefly toyed with doing the Cyril McGregor gag of asking him if he was going anywhere nice for his holidays next year.

And it has had a hell of a refit, hasn't it? I can't imagine ever giving up on #Corrie but God it's hard work.

Well you saw more than I did. But Forest had a successful and gifted central midfield for at least two seasons after Webb left, thus easing the pain from his exit.
Webb shouldn't have gone to either the 1990 World Cup or the Euros in 92. He was a sentimental pick who managed one sub appearance in Italy (in the 3rd place game) and one start in a shocking side in Sweden.
And yet Forest were just as good, if not a better team, after Webb left. Clough established a new midfield pairing of Parker and Hodge (after the Sheridan signing didn't work) and then recruited a youngster called Keane. Forest never actually missed Webb.
Clough said that Webb was "leaving his options open" but was publicly defiant that the player didn't have any options - the manager picked the team and the club held registrations even when contracts had run out, so although he threatened to play hardball, he was troubled by it.
He was a class act at Forest. I recall an awful lot of cynicism about the move - pre-Bosman, shunning a new deal, Clough showing a rare desperation regarding the importance of a player by trying to double his wages and then offering to buy him back for more when United moaned about the tribunal fee.
I'm in absolutely no doubt that Webb was finished by his injury. He was never the same player again, and two of the three winners' medals he picked up with Manchester United were as substitutes.
