September has been such a fantastic anomaly for me as a writer—one story published and three (!) acceptances. My heart is so full of gratitude. I’ve been working hard and hustling, but I’m still bowled over to get this much support from these journals and editors. 🌼

Edited an old story this week and found what felt like a great new direction for it. It seemed right for a few journals I’ve read but never submitted to before today. Fingers crossed. Just got to keep this rickety old writing machine rolling along 🙂

Last night was back to school night for parents at my son’s school. Hundreds of parents. Lots of teachers and admins. Sort of chaotic. But wow it felt good to hear from the teachers & be around so many people who care about their kids hearts and minds.
