I'm curious to see what the data shakes out, but I've always heard complaints about how absurd it is for "entry level jobs" to require X years of experience.

I didn't fully understand the motivations of the protagonist during the climax, but the reuniting of the cast during the denouement saved the film. 8/10 on IMDb (which is basically a 10)

How is Costco almost 3x cheaper for vanilla extract? I understand economies of scale and buying in bulk but... How??
Matt Sayar (@mattsayar.com) reply parent
Can you explain your thought process to come up with a number to that question? Did you do some fun Bayes' stuff, or what?
Matt Sayar (@mattsayar.com) reply parent
Yes, it's alternate costs/tradeoffs, exactly. We also save energy because we aren't visiting websites anymore after seeing the LLM answers, but that's another tradeoff. If you chat with an LLM vs human, that's saving energy too! But at what cost? Energy usage is only one factor
Matt Sayar (@mattsayar.com) reply parent
I've wondered before if a user is completing projects even marginally faster with AI, then isn't their overall energy expenditure lower? That's less time spent microwaving lunches, driving to and from work, borrowing coworkers' energy, using other energy resources etc
