I was given this little bag of poo 11 years ago for free. She's brought me so much joy and comfort in that time, and continues to do so. I just spent almost $2k on her vet fees cos she decided to not wee for 24hrs. I adore her, vomit and all.

I have one shift's experience in hospitality, so I know nothing. 40 years ago I was invited to attend a soft opening for a brand new restaurant, friends & family only. Despite tonight's high winds from Cyclone Alfred, I heard a weird noise in the house. I decided it must've been something moving in the wind on the back patio. I got up to go to the loo and saw a dark shape on the bathroom floor. A large green tree frog had gotten in somehow, but is out again now. 🐸
Its 4am and I'm wandering barefoot around my garden in a tee shirt & knickers, carrying a torch. I mustn't have completely latched my garden shed door yesterday, so passing Tropical Cyclone Alfred just woke the neighbourhood by repeatedly flinging the shed door open & closed. 😳

Good news, the vet said she's got great choppers for an 11yr old. So it only cost me $1000 for the clean instead of $1900 for clean + extractions. 😵

The look of betrayal. No food, no water, and she's spotted the cat carrier. She's got an appointment with the vet for a dental clean under anaesthetic this morning, so she's using all of her communication skills to remind me that I'll be getting a one star review later today.
It's 4am. She came back to ask politely about the issue of her missing overnight grazing plate. She then proceeded to walk over my face, and make biscuits on my pillow while drooling in my hair. She sat beside my pillow, staring at me expectantly, before clawing my backside, then a bit of grooming.
Its 3am on a rough night. My cat is fasting cos she's having her teeth cleaned under anaesthetic tomorrow. There's been a lot of rather aggressive grooming, tunnelling under my bedding, and annoyed huffing. She's just vomited up a furball, and is now sitting on her hammock in the front window.👩🦳🐈⬛
