Amazing how Mamdani can bring thousands of New Yorkers together A NIGHT BEFORE the event. We learned about it the night before and the went to the hunt the next day. I couldn’t believe there were so many people they ran out of cards. Luckily we were early and got a card for our team!

… continued … - took bus back to Union Square - took subway R W to Whitehall - from Whitehall took subway R W to City Hall to Dinkins bldg - walked to subway 1 to Jimmy walker park - walked back to , took subway 1 to Times Square - transfer to RW to Ed Koch/ tramway park - took subway RW to Queens
And the prize? Meeting Mamdani himself! And a nice iced chai latte drink (chai is my absolutely fave latte). How we did it: - arrived at Tamany Hall around 1:30ish. Got the card (thankfully! I heard they ran out of it) - took M14A bus to East river park alphabet city. Walked 15 mins to the park….
We made it!!! The final stop - Little Flower cafe in Astoria, Queens… if anything this experience gave MTA a heck of passengers on a Sunday - made me, a Harlem girl, go around NYC using public transportation and go to another borough!!! And people help other people along the way …
