Last anatomy for artist book I got was coming from germany, wich was 20Eur, and the last one I didn't got was from UK and it got more complex. But that was amazon order. And anyway, sorry I didn't mean to complain, just wish I could participate ^^

Update thread #2. Hemlock One thing we worked on is a different tool to complement Nightshade. We discovered a new attack on diffusion models that is more generalizable than Nightshade. It targets an entirely different part of AI training pipeline, basically making AI models poison themselves.

Zelda Williams (the daughter of the great Robin Williams) sure had a lot to say about the “Studio Ghibli style” AI images that have been trending recently. I think those people should read these posts and really think about what they’re doing.
Which make sense, if they gave you some security, you need less backup plan. But your work value is still the same. They are not giving you a portfolio, you are giving them a portfolio.
And trying to match everyone's expectations is a wild goose chase, some people in your comment are not there to be pleased.
I remember 10years ago people talked about 250eur/day but there was a lot of inflation since then.
I was lucky enough to always have money on the side, unemployment money, savings, or inheritance. Freelance is tough because the point is to not pay taxes for the bosses, but you need those for the down period. Freelance base price should be work value+software+health/unemployment saving
For me at the end of the day I would do the same thing anyway if I wasn't paid, but I would do it only for myself. I'm not here for the money, money is here so I can focus on the job. And the job will never be perfect, but done is better than perfect. Sorry if it's messy, it's still early.

As a freelancer you should be able to ask for what you deserve. You have been doing this for a while, you completed several project. Negotiating is scary, but sometimes it's enough to ask a bit more than last time. And wait for the counter proposal. You know what they get for the price.

For reference: Procedural generation is shuffling a deck and dealing from it. genAI is feeding every card deck you can find, including ones not for the game, into a wood chipper, slapping a handful of the bits on some glue, and pretending its a playable hand.

If you are an artist studying anatomy, avoid images like this like the plague. Books I recommend instead, Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist by Stephen Rogers Peck, Figure Drawing Design & Invention by Michael Hampton, Anatomy for Sculptors by Sandis Kondrats & Uldis Zarins.

Apparently the bus got shot in mannheim. Everyone is fine, but the bus is not leaving. 16h hour ride is now 27h long with two 3 hours stop.
The day before, the train do not reach paris, but will start from mannheim. I have time, I don't want to leave earlier, so I cancel the whole thing and take a bus. Goodbye comfort, but I keep the over night travel. I can sleep in a bus.
