Nice! The tally looks low for the Chicago rally. I’ve seen estimates of 75,000-100,000. Also, it wasn’t in Grant Park. The rally started in Daley Plaza in the Loop and made its way through the streets, onto Wacker Drive in front of Trmp Tower, down Michigan Avenue and back through the Loop.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.
I think we need to be easy on ourselves and do the best we can. There aren’t always alternatives, especially with disabilities. All the best.

The app Goods Unite Us is helpful for alternatives. But I do wish there was a company to give Amazon a run for its money!
Yes! I already started boycotting Target and Amazon a few weeks ago, but today no credit card charges or purchases at big retailers. Cash only at local small businesses. Also avoiding Facebook and Instagram. Only interacting with BlueSky 😊
