If Chris Christie can close a bridge, then surely a city can drum up some emergency road work around the ICE and National Guard staging areas. Shut down the roads!

Blue States should absolutely be entering into economic agreements that favor doing business with progressive companies and penalizing the repressive ones. Don't pay a living wage; no contracts for you. Don't provide adequate healthcare, especially for women; no contracts for you.
It would be a great resistance plan if cities had to make "emergency road repairs" in front of every driveway of whatever facility ICE and/or the invading National Guard are headquartered in. Tear up all the streets.

The funding cuts are senseless. The motive is unfathomable. Many of these university research institutes have billions in endowments. They could fund the work and own the rights outright (not we the people). But they'd rather protect their $$$ than contribute to the greater good.
