I am looking for congressional leaders to come out quickly and forcefully against this. We need unequivocal opposition. We need theatric demonstrations of defiance. We need to see leadership. Trump will steamroll us all if we display weakness. Where are our leaders?
Last Saturday, millions took to the streets in one of the largest protests in our nationâs history, showing our fellow Americans that we wonât bow down to a king â and they donât have to, either. What we achieved was momentous & inspiring. But its real impact will be determined by what we do next.
Here's an idea. Dem Governors & Mayors should be ordering their local law enforcement to arrest any & all unidentified and masked alleged ICE agents. If a random guy in a mask grabbed someone and threw them in a vehicle, we'd call that a kidnapping. Why not here? 1/2
