My latest psychiatrist appointment went better than expected and I have a newer third medication that should target depression; unlike with an older third medication that didn't work out, this one won't have weight gain as a side effect, so I'm feeling hopeful and optimistic.

Been spendin a lot of time trying to work out the mechanics/possibilities of doing the Swan & Ram comic I planned. Most issues come from how to do BGs/colours. Did some (rough) experiments last night, and I'd be interested to know how people think it looks. Had to crop to avoid story contexts. #Art

I have a recent habit of staying in bed until mid-afternoon on most of my days off and I can't seem to break it; it happens even when I make sure to allocate myself enough hours of sleep and it's honestly sad how little self-control I have on this.
The fact that some people are complaining about Silksong being priced at $20 rather than more is honestly baffling and annoying to me; the game already costs $5 more than its predecessor, and the takes that involve attributing malice to the developers are beyond stupid. #Silksong
Fun personal fact: I majored in computer science, but one of my two minors was in theatre arts; the latter was something that I really wanted to pursue later on, it was entirely my own choice, and I liked the classes a lot, also seeming to be the only engineer in several of them.

Finished watching Jenna's route in Echo earlier and really liked its direction for the most part; it especially developed Leo and Chase a lot more, and the route had tons of dramatic social tension overall. Been playing Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate again recently and finally got this stupid trophy unlocked.
Would be nice to hang out with my parents without my mom getting judgmental or trying to sow seeds of doubt at some point. Least I got a free dinner out of it, and parts of the hangout were fine.

Silksong is five dollars more than the original game though; I don't see any malice here.
As an update, she since received a new wheel, her entire cage was washed and cleaned, and she has more treats now; Lil' Ma'am got deluxe room service just for being naturally cute. #Hedgehog
I have to get a new hedgehog wheel for Lil' Ma'am today since her old wheel has finally started making loud and squeaky noises; I got that one on May 19, so if we assume that Lil' Ma'am runs 5 miles a night, that means that the wheel has endured 510 miles of running and is now screaming for mercy.

I think Dawntrail had more fade-to-blacks followed by cutscenes than it did ordinary conversations that didn't first wrestle control away from you; cinematic sequences are of course fine, but there's a point where it becomes excessive and mostly used for mundane exchanges.
Snowboarding apparently means the same thing as making snowboards.
Heaven forbid there be slightly more gameplay in a video game. Surprised that some people don't take it further and ask for the running between quests to be fully removed as well, just making the story campaigns into visual novels.

People do need to. The problem is that too many people don't bother labeling their own images before they're uploaded; Bluesky will sometimes label them if a detection tool recognizes stuff, but it's not consistent and isn't a substitute for people taking a few seconds to label their posts.
