Ah, so Raphinha is coming on for Roony now but although it was an obvious step, I was kind of enjoying Pedri with the captain's band on. Sadly, even my natural anti-Barcelona bias can't make me hate real life wizard Pedri.

Barcelona are playing weakened side (Lamine out, Raphinha benched) and while Rashford & Roony look poor, Barca are all over Valencia. The latter look a mess. I think we did predict that the outgoings over the summer were really going to destabilise Carlos Corberan's side a bit too much. #LaLiga

I almost think scoring v Barcelona is one of the worst things you can do because they can be extra relentless with something to chase. But yeah... it's a 90 min game of two halves. If you don't see it out then playing well for x minutes counts for nowt.

You're always going to have a section of the fanbase who are miserable for the sake of it, but when it starts to feel really fatal, that's because the generally moderate supporters (myself, for example) have jumped the shark for whatever reason. It'll be like this until something changes, at least.
