Lastly, and less importantly but still noteworthy, Pritzker has taken to attacking pundits on the regular. It's what Obama did too. This is a kind of soft-populism; no one likes pundits, as a class, even tho many people like individual pundits. It's a more D-voter-friendly way of attacking media.
Pritzker is doing two things here that are smart. One, he's describing this forcefully and unapologetically and in his own terms, not adopting the Admin/media frame. Two, he's making clear that he will blame the Admin for any violence or disorder sparked by their invasion of his state.

I can’t remember who said this on here but Something Awful really did have moderation figured out. You have to be able to ban jagoffs for literally any reason. Too big of a jag? Ban. Posting Vietnamese sandwiches? Ban. Ban and a shame list of banned users
It's bizarre, because I remember 2017 and 2018 when there was this really concerted effort to moderate crazies off of social media, and it was really effective! And then after 2020 it's like everyone just simultaneously gave up on the idea and it became the consensus that moderation was pointless.
