Just don’t expect any of that “happiest place on earth” stuff. Disneyland Paris staffers lean into melancholy. It’s often raining, always smoky, & hilariously difficult to navigate. But delightful in its total denial of the “Disney experience.”

This article on the crazy cost of a trip to Disney World reminded me: the few times we visited Disneyland Paris we rarely waited in line. Parisians don’t “get” DLP.
