What really grinds my gears about learning kdp & self-publishing is that when ever you google videos to find out the common expectations of what a book needs, it just spits out half-hour videos of trend-chasing tips to help oversaturation already existing experiences & services.
...Just got replacing & resizing 720 individual images with a higher quality version in Google Doc because... it's one less hurdle to make this activity book. Bookbolt ain't got the activities I invented. Which is a blessing & curse.

The corporate generative model "trims down" the social scheduling for people who don't like to waste their time to make something. You aren't being paid for editing with someone who favors ai, you are just a disposable redundancy to make sure things lost on them(perspective&flow) are addressed.
Which is easier? You have have a project &... You then have to take time gather the resources & get to know people before you start on the project. Or You then ask a corporate generative model to take care of drafting the project & then sort out what type of contractors can lookover the draft.
IMO Internet Waffle: With ai making more mistakes with production, I assume why most folks still favor ai is "social schedule". I don't have the money or schedule-habits to properly engage with talented folks. So for a less respectful person, ai would be a easier on-demand resource for engagment.
Saw a job opening for $120/hr for professional novelists to essentially share everything they knew about writing so AI could too. >< Actual freelance writer jobs I've seen are around $30-50 an hour, if that. It's all so screwed up.
