How technical are you, Jay? The machine should still be good for Linux, try Mint or Ubuntu, both are well supported and similar-ish to Windows. If that’s not an option, it’s possible it’s only 1 or 2 parts of yr machine specs that’s lacking, so you could take it to a shop to upgrade those bits.

I’m hopeful that long term, there will be change. Trump is showing that the president can do literally anything. So Dems need to stop being complacent and make changes for the better. Making voting compulsory should be part of that. I feel like it’s super important. That’s if he cedes power 🤬

Good move! I’ve never used Google as my main anything (search engine, email client, browser, calendar). Went from Netscape to Mozilla to Firefox. These days I’m using Brave browser, highly recommend. Fast & privacy is at forefront. It has its own default search engine but DDG is excellent too.
