State Rep for District 95 Nicole Collier is being held in the Texas State House against her will because she refused to sign an agreement to allow a DPS officer to escort her at all times. She is the only person that refused to sign and if she tries to leave they will arrest her.

My message to DC residents.
President Trump's decision to mobilize the National Guard to conduct municipal policing in D.C. lacks seriousness and is deeply dangerous. We await outreach from the White House if they want to have a serious conversation about public safety. But we won’t hold our breath.
Trump's raw authoritarian power grab in DC is part of a growing national crisis. He's playing dictator in our nation's capital as a dress rehearsal as he pushes democracy to the brink. This assault on freedom is exactly why we've fought for DC statehood and to give DC control of its National Guard.

What Is Juneteenth? Juneteenth marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. Opal Lee, now 98, is recognized as the “Grandmother of Junteenth” which became a federal holiday in 2021.
No one should be held in unsafe, inhumane conditions—especially not in our own backyard. I’ve filed an amicus brief urging the court to step in and protect the rights of immigrant detainees being held for days in crowded, unsanitary holding cells at the Baltimore Immigration Court.
I don't know about you...but I'm disturbed by the amount of hell NOT being raised by leadership about masked individuals jumping out of unmarked vans, refusing to identify themselves...and just shoving people into a Goddamn vehicle and whisking them away.
