People getting fired for quoting Kirk's actual words and being apathetic of his death makes sense when you realize two things: 1. people are scared shitless of right-wing backlash 2. A lot of higher-ups at these institutions likely agreed with him.

Below is a list of most of the thing Charlie Kirk was against. I believe that a plurality or a majority of Americans disagreed with him. Yet he was HONORED by being flown flown home on Air Force 2, NFL games held a moment on silence, flags at half staff.
Five NFL teams chose not to honor Charlie Kirk. @modestholdings.com chose to defy the governor’s order that his county fly flags at half staff for Kirk. The fact that people are able to stick their necks out to do the right thing puts into sharper contrast just how many are not willing to do so.
You all need to stay boycotting those who are canonizing Kirk. Because they have canonized a man who didn't want you to have rights. Opinions are one thing, but he was actively working with the Heritage Foundation and the Administration to dismantle rights and safety nets. Make them like Target.
