Everybody should be paying attention to Paige Cognetti. She's an A+ recruit for the Democrats in a battleground seat. Took on a corrupt machine in Scranton and won. She's exactly the kind of leader we need to lead the Democratic Party into the future.

America has no money to pay for cancer research for kids, but we’ve got tons of cash to cut taxes for billionaires and build Trump a new party room at the White House. Make it make sense.
Trump said prices would go down on day one—now core inflation just hit a 6-month high because of the tariffs. Wholesale grocery prices are up nearly 40%. Electricity’s up 10%. It's rough out there for most Americans and Trump can't be bother to do anything about it.
Smart move by Joni Ernst to retire rather than face a wave of negative ads from Democrats featuring her “we all are going to die” quote from a town hall a few months back. That was brutal—and in a midterm year, even in this partisan environment, it might’ve ended her career.

Oh my God. The Republican budget is so unpopular that Republicans are already trying to change its name—from the One Big, Beautiful Bill to the Working Family Tax Cuts. Changing the name of your signature legislation months after you passed it is a pretty bad sign for the midterms.

If I had to guess, Kash Patel had the FBI raid John Bolton this morning because today’s the extended deadline to turn over the Epstein files to House Oversight. My bet? They either blow it off or hand in some heavily redacted bullshit that hides Trump’s name. Always a distraction.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but crime is as much an economic issue as it is a safety one. Meaningful progress on it requires policy that addresses both. Education too, while we’re at it.

Trump patrolling the streets of DC tonight is exactly the kind of thing that worked for him on the campaign trail, but usually backfires when he's in office. People want to see him doing his fucking job—especially on inflation and housing, which he's in deep denial about even being an issue.
Trump rolled out the red carpet for Putin, and Russia responded by… bombing an American factory in Ukraine. Trump got played again.
Nothing in Trump's life has ever taught him that he will be held accountable for his actions, and that defines his entire approach to power. It's why he thinks he can get away with his Epstein coverup. He is the product of a system that allows the uber rich and powerful to get away with everything.
If you're complaining about Cracker Barrel going woke because they updated their logo, you're a total loser and should seek help.
Conservative accounts are absolutely losing it over Newsom’s social media—screaming that he’s paying for engagement and bots. Total projection. That’s their entire playbook! And it’s so blatantly obvious how much of the right-wing engagement is fake as hell.
Not sure if they’ll meet tomorrow’s deadline to send the Epstein documents to the Oversight Committee. If they do, we need to demand they be unredacted, except to protect victims. Nothing less than full transparency is acceptable.

Hey, some good news—a frustrating summer of bike lessons is finally paying off. The kiddo rode all the way to piano lessons and back with barely any help. Didn't stop or complain once. Super proud of him.
