Is it just me or is Bluesky dead for AI content? Threads and Twitter are much more vibrant.
Example of person who doesn’t understand machine learning research very well pontificating about AI. Where are the well-researched AI folks on Bluesky?

I think even the best thinkers have blindspots that prevent them from being completely thorough with their ideas and lacking in some level of intellectual integrity. I do wonder if AI will help us to be better in that regard.
If I were to redo 2021-2022, I would have started a video game studio and bought hundreds of games from the Unity asset library and reskinned them for every NFT project, gated them, and released them. Because then we’d at least have some games that people could play with.
Wow. MrBeast is within 5mil subs of T Series, the largest YouTube Channel by subscriptions. In other words, he’s less than a month away from being the largest YouTube channel on earth. T Series is a music/news channel specifically targeted at Indian users. MrBeast is “one” guy.

It’s an interesting dilemma because I think Reddit has a user interface that can naturally amplify really good behavior but also do the same with bad behavior. But net net, it has elevated more good behavior over the long term.
I’ve seen that happen on social media platforms before (i.e. early Clubhouse, Medium, even Twitter, Quora, etc.) but at a certain point, the people who carry what they deem is “good etiquette” have a hard time stemming the onslaught of emergent behaviors they can and cannot see.
Given that most of the innovation, best ideas, and leadership in any given field, industry or business is usually lead by a small group of people (maybe 10% or less of people in that field) that leaves a large space for parrots to gain credibility.
