Cinema trip 91 of 2025 Dunkirk I missed this first time only seeing it on the small screen. But it was just as powerful on the big screen. The tension just builds and builds. And Nolan’s direction is just spot on!

Cinema Trip 85 of 2025 Together ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Effectively creepy, but does give its mystery away half way through. The body horror is effective though often more suggestive. Franco and Brie are great on screen together. I’m just not sure the ending fully landed for me.

Cinema trip 84 of 2025 The Naked Gun ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 7/10 IMDb This surprised me, there was a fair few bits that just didn’t land at all. But it had so much more charm and cleverly funny other moments, which won me over. Neeson was great and Anderson all shows great comedic talent.
Sweat morning in the garden but the lawn is tamed again. Hot weather or not my Hot Lips and Hydrangea are kicking ass this year!

The cast are all good, and the structure is clever. And it can’t be blamed for not being original. Cregger is certainly someone to watch but he needs to be careful that the mid movie rug pull isn’t his last act twist like M.Night Shamalan as he may find himself getting caught out by it. 2/2
Cinema Trip 83 of 2025 Weapons ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 8/10 IMDb I didn’t find this all that scary, but I didn’t think the reveal as I’ve seen some say ruined it. It was creepy and unsettling and like Barbarian uses its absurdity to is advantage, by making you chuckle through your the unsettling images. 1/2

Cinema Trip 81 of 2025 X-Men The Last Stand The weaker of the original 3 due too many ideas not being given chance to breathe. But it’s still a decent ⭐️⭐️⭐️ comic book blockbuster.
Cinema trip 80 of 2025 Freakier Friday ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Belated sequels don’t always land successfully but this really did for me. Lee Curtis and Lohan are both fab the laughs come think and fast. I also loved how they got everyone back from the first film, barring Grandpa.

Cinema Trip 77 of 2025 The Legend of Ochi ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Ochi puppetry in this day and age of everything’s CGI and cinematography belong in a 5 star movie, but the film was a just little too odd to be likeable. The characters are never given enough depth to make them likeable.
