I've been talking about my dad’s abuse for a long time, and he's used his capabilities to harass and attempt to discredit me in awful ways. What happened to my brother, Ben, was much worse. My dad trapped him into participating in his evil; and I do mean evil: terrorism, treason, rape, and murder.
When I chant in my singing groups, I am interested, scientifically, how it changes my physical body and my consciousness. It is not an exercise in DEVOTION for me as it is for some people!
I do not like labels. I think it is ok to assume people who define themselves a certain way have the same basic beliefs as others who define themselves that way, until I find out otherwise. I am very carful how I define my self and I am not a joiner.
I don’t buy ANY religious rituals or practices as is. I make them fit for me. I think you and I have more in common than not. I discovered how to change my mind thru meditation.
