I'm just so sick of hearing about how dangerous every traffic stop is when they beat or shoot someone. Then how about we not stop people for tail lights out and other trivial bs. That's a $60 ticket, certainly not worthy of endangering an officers or a citizens life.
I know a lot of police officers that I would characterize as good, family focused people when they take the uniform off. My point is that if they are turning a blind eye to obvious misconduct, should we really be considering them "good cops".
Your mistake is limiting this to J6ers. The idea of a "good cop" is a myth. They ALL protect their own, whether it is loyalty driven or self preservation. Good people don't let their peers abuse their power.
