None of this is normal. Institutions are shuttering venues of dissent. The judiciary is being turned into a mechanism to harass Trump's political opponents. The media is silencing critics. And now the Senate is no longer going to do advice and consent. None of this is normal.

It’s not the best brick but still prefer to pavement there. Not opposed to better bike connection (along road or in the paths along side) or no-car zone (even if just sometimes) but wouldn’t want a fully paved road.
Disagree. Needs to be maintained better, but that area would be much less visually appealing w pavement (and potholes). And it’s historic part of Mpls so brick fitting. And even when maintained well the brick is such a good traffic calmer along that stretch. People would be flying through if paved.

The tragic loss of children’s lives in the Minneapolis school shooting is a moral call to act. Congress must pass real gun safety laws, ban assault weapons, close loopholes, and invest in community safety. Protecting our children is more important than protecting the gun lobby.
I’m a proud, life-long Catholic. God didn’t arm the Minneapolis shooter, politicians did. Nothing that has been reported about the cause points to religion. It does point to a dangerous individual having easy access to weapons. Let’s stop hiding behind religion to excuse the preventable.
