Well, the diet isn’t going great so far. I’ve gained 3lbs.
TBF, I am not drinking at the moment anyway. I'm just pondering if I can as my sisters will be coming round for drink at some point.

I won't be drinking excessively, but might have a glass of wine or two when my sisters come over. I just wanted to know if it was safe to do or if it was an absolute no-no.
If anyone here is taking Mounjaro (or equivalent): Do you still drink alcohol? Does it make you poorly if you do?

First time drinking Tej (Ethiopian honey wine). It’s delicious… it’s sweet, but not sickly, and has a kind of aromatic/herbal after taste. Delicious!! And it comes in this cute little flask.

I already feel perfectly fine, thank you! I just now know that my migraines might cause me some weird additional symptoms! :)
My migraines always come on at random without an obvious trigger, so I can’t predict when it might happen again but at least I know if I have these weird symptoms again it’s unlikely to be a stroke!
In the last 24 hours I’ve had a CT, MRI, ultrasound, and an ECG. I’m going to glow in the dark tonight…
The doctors have given me the all clear! No stroke detected. Apparently I’ve started having weird migraines which cause similar symptoms to a stroke. Thank God for that! Pass the wine…
So far my biggest upset is that I'm not allowed to drive until after my consultation. I feel absolutely fine today; I'm hoping they're going to tell me it's connected to my migraines and that my brain just misfired.
Today I have to have an MRI and something called a Doppler Scan(?) before my consultation. This is all happening very fast.
That was quick. Have been booked in for an MRI and further tests today.
No they didn’t. And I wouldn’t let them do that to me if they tried! lol
Yeah: it’s just a blood thinner just in case.
I feel perfectly fine now. The symptoms have all gone. I think they’re just treating me this way as a precaution!

In theory they should see me in the next 5 days, so hopefully shouldn’t be too long I’m off the road for! They’re just treating me with Aspirin.
Already been discharged. I have to go back for an appointment at a clinic though. And I can’t drive til I’ve been seen by the clinic! Damn them!

Well, I’m being treated as if I’ve had a mini-stroke but that’s more precautionary than confirmed. Have to attend a clinic to rule it out. Nothing to report on the CT scan.
Being sent to hospital to have some tests done. I’m gonna be there for hours, aren’t I!?
They’re sending an ambulance to my house but half expecting them to say they have to take me for a scan or something.
An ambulance is now on its way after what I’ve told them!
I'm going to give 111 a call and see what they say. I've just had some very odd neurological symptoms today, some of which line up with a mild stroke... I'm just not looking forward to spending hours sat in A&E - assuming that's even where they send me.
