There should be GCSE and A Level qualifications in critical thinking. It's what underpins everything else. It needs to be taught and people need to be good at it. Employers should demand good passes from new hires.

Here's a fact for you all. Prior to 2017 there was not a single documented case of any individual travelling by small boats across the English Channel to caim asylum in the UK. Not ONE. This current 'boats' crisis has been largely caused by Brexit. But for some reason NOBODY is saying that.

Well, the last bottle of vegetable oil I bought cost £1.98 and the last pint I bought was £4.50. That's about the same ratio as ten years ago. Same pub, same Aldi. Everything is expensive. Butter is £2.00 to £2.50 compared to £1.00 ten years ago.

I don‘t mean to be harsh, but I really think that a fundamental problem of UK Governance is that the entire debate surrounding it is focused on what is *politically feasible* in the short term and not on which issues/ threats need to be addressed, and fast. Your logic relies on a vanishing world.

Tiffany Aching by Terry Pratchett went down well with my daughter ( 9 going on 13 ) and Katherine Rundel's Roof Toppers and Fantastic Beasts were both really easy to read out loud, they had great plots too. The boy that Dreamed of Dragons series was good too.
