I always forget the efficiency of the valet scene, which at first seems to be just to signal that Bond is "one of the good guys who hates snobs" (despite the Bond franchise being nothing BUT a snob fantasy) but then doubles as his way to get into the club's security office:
Even though I only usually watch the first half of the movie (I love the whole fluffy fantasy of everything that happens at the casino), my only real note for the whole movie is that you don't need "One sympathizes". It's redundant!

Some of my fondest liminal sense memories is scarfing down an Egg McMuffin on a wet blacktop while the sun is struggling to pierce distant purple thunderheads, or the smell of hashbrowns as everyone eats in relative silence while the co-pilot tries to find something chill on the radio.
Yeah, that articulates a basic problem I had with that movie - despite everything done to cartoon everything else up, it still always seemed like a Beatty vanity project because he didn't even *try* to look like such an iconic character, all while everyone else is swimming in foam rubber.
McDonald's breakfast is still the taste/smell of roadtrips to me - especially if they're consumed at the asscrack of dawn.

Man I thought I had the perfect new movie-watching setup with this little mac mini I could remote into from across the room. I forgot that half of the streaming services these days lock you out if you're doing any kind of second-screen stuff.
So many Hollywood dipshits used to get distracted by the novelty of the aesthetics of comics that they forgot to make a good movie - at least Tim Burton (who never read comics, either) was at least smart enough to hire Anton Furst to make sure 1989 Batman stood on its own.
While I appreciate what Beatty was going for, this is a perfect example of someone who doesn't read comics thinking they're going to blow everyone's minds by making a movie (supposedly) look like a comic book when all they end up with is a stupid-looking movie (see also Joel Schumacher + Batman)

Anyway, I think this may be the end of my journey with this game, which sucks, but is kind of emblematic with Machinegames’ well-meaning-but-often-clumsy attempt to essentially make a 20 hour-long first-person playable Indiana Jones movie.
I’ve been working on this puzzle for the past few nights, and every attempt gets fucked up at some point where you can’t see where you’re laying pipe (haha) because the pipe itself is so big and blocking your view, on top it being tricky to get the pipe to fit how you want it.
I put down Silksong to tackle the Indiana Jones DLC before Hades II hits Wednesday night, and I got stuck at a gladiator statue puzzle that’s very cool in concept but awful in execution because it’s essentially Pipe Dreams but with giant pipe pieces that are difficult to lay down accurately:
