RFK is a singularly horrible & bizarre person, but he is able to exploit the culture's ableism for his eugenicist plans, the revival of ableist language that had once been banished is part of it, because this language is used to justify real life brutality against us & that's its historical root.

Setting aside how ghoulish it is to post a video of this, it raises a moral and I suspect legal question. This is not a war zone, these are not enemy combatants. They are criminal suspects. We have Coast Guard cutters to interdict them. At what point is this not just summary execution?
Because it’s high tech and we get the POV of the aircraft that fired it’s a “strike.” But really this is no different from just shooting these guys in the back of the head.
I know we have gotten used to some pretty unrestrained uses of force in the past 25 years, but suspected terrorists are at least, suspected of being a legitimate military target. These guys are doing things that would not mark them for death even if they’re guilty.

5/ Steps should be taken to get in the way of a Trump effort to federalize the Illinois National Guard. Can Trump override those efforts? Yes. But at least make him do it.
When President Trump used 32 U.S.C. § 502(f)(2) in 2020, that was to have out-of-state National Guard troops sent to D.C.—which has no sovereignty of its own. Sending the un-federalized TX National Guard into IL without the latter’s consent raises *serious* Article IV problems that 2020 … didn’t.
I don’t know how this is possible. Texas cannot control guard sent to Illinois without violating Illinois sovereignty. It must be federally controlled units, otherwise instead of a Posee Comitatus problem, we have a major constitutional crisis.
