I did not put Newsom down. I said our state has one of the weakest governors in the US. Newsom is as hamstrung by our proposition 13 as the Governator was.
Don't get me wrong, I have been 100% supportive of everything Newsom has done, including COVID, Trashing Twitler, etc.
The 13th Amendment, about the time I graduated from high school, limited the governors power in California, and gave massive authority to our legislature. Then, without a supermajority, our state was really unable to get anything done. Now Newsom and a Democratic supermajority, we are banging.
