I use trains a lot both in the city and regionally, more than a vast majority of the country, but they still won't get me places I need to go
by contrast it is about a 7 hour drive
i live (clearly from recent posting haha) near to one of the biggest train hubs in America and i still couldn't visit my mom in the 15th biggest city in the US, Columbus OH, by train because there is no Amtrak station there. And if I went to the nearest major city in OH it would take 24 hours
and I think individually all good things but a bit of an out of body experience standing in the middle of it
