I'm gonna harp on this because college basketball punishes weak out of conference schedules. Football needs to do the same. A team like LSU should be rewarded big time for going on the road in Week 1 and winning. Instead they have zero chance of passing PSU on the rankings until PSU plays Oregon.
Factoid that might only interest me: There are 4 ranked teams with 0 P4 OOC opponents. 2 can arguably be forgiven because they scheduled former PAC-12 teams (Ole Miss vs Wazzu and Texas Tech vs Oregon State). The 2 without a single P4/5 OOC opponent? Indiana and PSU.
