To see my entire feed filled with “politics isn’t the place for violence” seems incredibly disingenuous when so many people are born in danger because of the color of their race/gender/orientation.
The likes of the CEO and now this guy are a matter of the pendulum swinging the other way. We are currently in a civil war. Cities are fighting against the country’s military for their right to exist and govern. More people’s rights, systems, and benefits are being ripped away by the day.
Minorities have been the target of violence for the aim of political gain since before this country was founded. This country has gone from plundering the lands of POC to exploiting them for centuries, using the rights of anybody who isn’t straight, white, and born here as political bargaining chips

Honestly, not really worth it. For as abusive as the show surely was, it didn’t get dug into much. They would briefly mention how problematic it was, and then immediately show a host or producers that would swear up and down things were still justified and not as bad as it’s portrayed. Surface ick.
