Personally I think be able to do art at all is a massive privilege, and while the depths my gratitude can't be overstated, from the beginning I always believed such privileges are fragile, living under the assumption that it won't last.
Not saying "never give up" or anything like that, especially if it's making you miserable. It's your life, you can search for meaning in different ways. Art is just one of the many options, and the other options aren't any less human.
