The new @nivenj1.bsky.social novel is a brutal, compulsive experience. Laugh out loud funny (all the more so because you do so against your own best instincts), it is also a proper Glasgow West End novel.
I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed. Another magnificent book by @nivenj1.bsky.social.
It was this review that convinced me to buy the book. Just finished it in just over two days. I’m feeling a bit emotional m if I’m honest. Loved it, what a book.

This is really really good. His best novel so far, I reckon. Starts off all Amisy - oh here we go, it's Glasgow Fields, oh and here's Keith McTalent- but it develops into something heart-stoppingly brilliant. Hard recommendation, as hard as a Brutalist car park.
