Border crossings in Texas are at record lows — yet state troopers dispatched for Gov. Abbott's border crackdown are still racking up millions in overtime. The governor is wasting billions on an anti-immigrant program that harms families and fuels violence instead of addressing real needs.
The Wall Street Journal. The Guardian. All the other outlets who failed to confirm their reporting. I want to see fewer cowardly, shrugging "editor's notes" on these stories and more statements of "wow, we really failed in our reporting on a grave matter, and here's how we're going to do better."
This man will not be fired for calling for the murder of American citizens, yet multiple journalists/reporters/teachers lost their job for accurately reporting things Charlie Kirk actually said and stood for. But it’s the “violent left” that’s the problem

It’s not normal that Republicans can lie and spew any insults on any platform or media outlet and get away with it, whereas Democrats like Matthew Dowd get fired for being “insensitive“ while telling the absolute truth. This is a repulsive double standard.

The "civil rights era" never ended. You are still in it. Black people are still asking for exactly the same things that they asked for in the 1960s: police reform, voting rights, and fair access to employment. And the exact same proportion of white US voters oppose it with both votes and violence.
The Wall Street Journal is now walking back its earlier reporting that "transgender ideology" messages were found on the shooter's ammunition. But it's too late. That story is all around the country and the world. Most who have read it will not see the update. Thanks, WSJ.
