Ich konnte beobachten, wie eine Amsel eine verletzte Krähe vor den Angriffen zwei anderer Krähen beschützt hat. Sie war natürlich kleiner, als die Krähen. Sie hat sich zwischen der am Rücken liegenden Krähe und den Angreifern gestellt und laut zu schreien begonnen. 1/2

Nothing in history compares to the life-long torture, fear and pain that most livestock animals have to endure. Again, 97% of egg laying hens have to live with broken bones. Also organic. The few wild animals left have won the jackpot of life compared to our #food animals.

Why should we waste most of the land of of the calories for nothing and destroy beautiful nature and wildlife? What do you think that David Attenborough, Jane Goodall and others have in mind? There is delicious plant based food and it's usually much healthier than animals too.

Only 30% of all birds are wildlife because 70% of all birds are chickens. (You show CO2 and not land use per 1000 cal btw. I was talking habitats.) The only reason why chicken (40-50% wildlife habitat loss) seems 'ok' to you is because beef is worse (96% loss). That's a very bad argument imo.

Livestock is by far the biggest threat to #biodiversity. By far. Every livestock animal takes away wildlife habitats since the land size is limited on Earth. Livestock is by far the main reason for ongoing deforestation.

If you have time to read on the toilette it means that you have severe health issues and a bad diet. Imho. Chances are that you belong to the 95-98% of Americans that are fiber deficienct and do not even get the tiny RDA. It's hard to get enough fiber when we eat animals (zero fiber of life).

Methane is 86 times more potent in the short run than CO2. Both reach peak impact after 10-15 years. Methane (cows, shrimp aka wetlands, fossil fuels) should be our low hanging fruits to buy more time (to reduce CO2) but instead, CH4 keeps going up. We trade aka hide it more.

Haha. Adding cat photos to every post increases reach (quantity). But it decreases quality and normalizes ecocide. Cats, cows, children, chemicals and cars are our biggest ecological challenges today. We should not normalize genocide & ecocide imo for more reach.

Me too. I’m on some doomer lists I assume that get blocked automatically. Otherwise I kept asking scientists where we stand re NASA/NOAA data in comparison to SSPs and they all hated and avoided that question. I don’t know any scientists who compares real data to SSPs. What is going on?
