I can't lift our dog and it saddens me because one day he will need lifting to get into the car or onto the bed. He's blind so ramps are iffy. The pain is already getting better. He finally let me put a lidocaine patch on his lower back and apply gentle heat.
I just have to think about moving and my body does bullshit things. We deserve his power or regeneration.

I used the cable that came with my kindle and the cable that came with my kobo. You just have to test to make sure the cables are designed for data transfer as well as charging. If your kindle shows up on your computer like it's an external hard drive, you should be good.
The kobo app for iOS now has continuous scroll! I believe they call it page less reading. I don't know about the Android app. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing that with the ereader themselves as they are eInk and the refresh rate is fairly low. 🤷🏻♀️

Agree. I've been reading ebooks since pre Sony ereader days so I've been through this many times over the years. Which is why I download, strip drm when I can, and save the books on my computer. And back up those files. I'm done repurchasing books cuz a vender changes or goes under.

Yes, I want to be able to choose a refrigerator that doesn't have ice makers or water dispensers. While Mr L did put in a direct water line to our current one for the ice maker, I really don't love the maintenance and we don't go through ice quickly so are constantly dumping old ice
