We've been protected from this for a long time and have blocked matches and even visits from the likes of the BNP etc for years but this is different. I think it's the impact of social media and how it's so much easier to spread disinformation and hate without consequence.

Persian really is lovely. Would love to learn it better. Urdu is a combination of Arabic and Persian mostly, with urdu poetry which I love, being heavily influenced by Persian. And Persian Islamic art with calligraphy is one of my favourite things.

One of the things I've noticed in the last week of these #racist demos is the amount of saltires on the #fascist side. This I think is a new thing. They are using it in the same way the English racists have weaponised the St George's flag and that's really sad.
