If this isn't enough to scare them into actually caring about the people they represent, then they should not be surprised when a coup de'tat happens.
They should be afraid. For too long, they have been self-righteous narcissists who have only cared about themselves and their own interests. They have never cared about the people they were hired to represent.
But we do have a choice and our choice is written right into the original Declaration of Independence which states that it is the obligation and the right of the people to abolish a corrupt government and replace it with a government of the people by the people and for the people.
I've also had no hesitation about openly stating my belief that while the ballot box does exactly what it is supposed to do without fail, we are often trading one oppressor for another and we try to justify it by claiming we don't have a choice.
I often coldly and loudly state that we will never stop a fascist dictator by doing nothing more than standing on a sidewalk holding a sign and screaming.
I've also called out Democrats and Democrat voters for being too soft on various issues. Like all these "No Kings" protests. I'm constantly calling out the protesters for being too soft.
I have a friend who is a die-hard Trump supporter and I am constantly shoving Republicans' hateful rhetoric in his face and constantly telling him that Republicans are bringing a lot of that shit on themselves.
I routinely clap back on that logic by being very vocal in my belief that solving the gun violence problem with more guns is like giving the winner of a Vodka-drinking contest more Vodka and I often ask if they're really solving the problem at that point or just making everything worse
No, I target them, too. I have called them out on their hypocrisy in the past and got up in their faces about their beliefs of more guns being the solution to gun violence.

My way of "caring about the kids" is knowing that they are better off without their father pushing his hateful rhetoric on them and knowing that now they are free to grow up the way they want without having to be forced to believe the way their father believed.

I'm not taking their care as a personal attack. They are the ones getting riled up over my comments that I am indifferent about the suffering the kids now have to deal with, and it is their aggressive response to those comments that I am taking as a personal attack.

I'm not saying the victims shouldn't be allowed to grieve. My argument is solely that we should not be judged for choosing not to cry over the negative situation and feel sorry for the victims.
It's pathetic, and quite frankly very anger-inducing, that every time something bad happens, everyone is expected to cry over it and feel sorry for the victims.

I base my recommendations not just on the price of the pen, but on how easy it is to use, how easy it is to maintain, and how long it will last. Because the Eco requires disassembly and cleaning every few fills, I don't recommend it as a beginner pen.
That's the other factor I used in determining my recommendation. The Diamond 580 is the better pen for beginners because it requires less maintenance and care.
The Eco is cheaper but the Diamond 580 uses metal parts and you can screw off the top half, allowing you to flush the pen more easily than the Eco, which you need to disassemble every few refills, unless you keep the same ink color in it. In other words, it's easier to maintain.

You and I have different ideas of "value" then. I recommended the TWSBI Diamond 580 not only for its $80 pricetag but also for its size. It's bigger than the Sharpie gel pens she uses and holds significantly more ink per fill. There's also the environmental factor of bottled ink pens.
As I mentioned in another post, I show contempt or indifference to the friends or relatives of people who get hurt or killed doing something stupid. Charlie Kirk tempted fate. Everyone is calling him out on it. The psychopath in me is indifferent to the suffering of his wife and kids.

I "work through my shit" by working behind the scenes now. I haven't done customer service work in nearly a decade. I don't stick around when I am out in public. I always know what I am going into a store for and I get it, pay for it, and get out as quickly as I can.
I did customer service work during the height of the whole "the customer is always right even when they're not" logic where management would panic and literally throw discounts at the feet of angry customers just to calm them down, while firing the employee closest to the angry customer

I don't recommend cartridge pens to anyone as beginner pens due to the fact you literally have to take them apart just to put ink in them, and because used ones can and sometimes do fall apart while being used.
When you advocate for having more guns than people as "the ultimate and best form of security" then why do you need personal bodyguards if everyone there is armed?

Because of their size and their larger ink capacity, fountain pens are noticeably heavier than gel pens but also don't require much pressure at all to get them to write, and so are the often-recommended go-to pens for those with arthritis or carpal tunnel.
Do not keep ink inside a fountain pen. Always empty them and flush them before putting them in storage or taking them on a plane.
They promote an armed citizenry as "the best form of security", so I don't even know why they hire body guards

Try pens like the $80 TWSBI Diamond 580, which can hold up to 2mL of ink and requires bottled ink. It doesn't have to be taken apart just to be filled. Simply twist the thing at the top to fill it and empty it.

What I have discovered as a writer is that most people who use gel pens or ballpoint pens are almost completely unaware of the stress they are putting on their hands and wrists by having to apply pressure to the pen just to get it to write. Fountain pens barely need any pressure at all.
Have you tried changing the pens? You might not be aware of how the pen itself is affecting your endurance. Instead of a very narrow and feathery-light gel pen, try a large and thick fountain pen.

I can work 8 hours a day doing blue collar jobs and still have the energy to participate in medieval re-enactments after work or come home and go right into prepping and cooking dinner for myself and my family.
My mostly meat-based diet allows me to work a blue collar job and still have the endurance and muscle power to have hobbies and an active life outside of work.
Live a full life, but can you work a blue collar job on a vegan diet without getting fatigued or having muscle cramps or injuries?
Sure, we can't get adequate amounts of vitamin c from meat products, but meat products and eggs are by far the best way to get your daily recommended amount of protein. We also need some fat, but not too much. Meat and milk provide that easily.
