Your self worth is yours alone to apprise. If you rely on others to assign you worth you're going to continue to have issues. I believing in yourself is a journey like self discovery. Just know that not everyone is out to get you. You have to learn to let people in and know your limits.
I commented on this before but I had thrown my back out last month. I did simple 15 minute excersize for a week and the pain subsided and completely disappeared in that time. Now I continue to do it and yeah sometimes I don't wanna but it's been paying off

Not so. They would put a bonfire at the boss after you defeat it, maybe. Or a brisk 1-5 minute run through enemy and trap infested corridors. Maybe you'll get a short cut but never a bonfire right outside a boss door in 99 percent of cases.

You'll want a smart home controller anyway. I started with smartthings before I moved over to home assistant's kits. Everything runs on a server but you can run home assistant os on anything. I'm going to do some amazing stuff with it all when I get a proper gpu attached.
The home assistant website has pretty much all the documentation you could ever need. As for the hardware? You wanna decide what you wanna use. Personally I use zwave devices as they are simple, can be air gapped, and aren't on the 2.4ghz band so create and experience little interference.
I will say it's a very fun con and the good options are amazing and reasonably priced.

One day I'll show off some of the projects I'm doing if I think it's worth noting.
I wanted to get away from having smart speakers that send data outside the house but I liked the features they had. Now the cost to do it in house is low enough, it made sense to transition to self hosted assistant.
What's cool about iot is it's cheaper than you'd think. The market is flooded with this crap and you can get used stuff for next to nothing if you look around ebay. As long as you are doing your own labor it's cheap

I have almostly completely unshckled myself from Alexa and Google Home assistants. Now Home Assistant run locally on my own hardware is all I have and it's getting better with each day.
