I think this one is *almost* as good as Black Earth (I haven't heard that Latitude Sessions one). Patchouli Blue (their most recent) and Dolores are good 'uns too.

The records are all alphabetical, chronological (#-T in one room, U-Z in the hall). J-L and Su-T currently inaccessible due to floor piles/bad speaker placement. Tapes poorly organised (by label, kinda, along with a section for ye olden days ones). CDs beyond chaotic.

Haven't got around to that book yet, but I will! I LOVE that first SY album - I Dreamed I Dream is one of my favourite SY tunes, but the album is a total outlier, the sound is so different, clean and klangy.

What a streak they had between Bad Moon Rising and Daydream Nation. I do love Goo, but I don't find myself putting on Dirty very often anymore. The later albums have their moments but they're pretty patchy. Sonic Nurse is probably the one I'd listen to most, and Murray Street.
