I've heard A-G's wife explain that he wasn't abusive, but early in their relationship, after a fight when he'd said some threatening things, she made the report bc she'd been abused in a previous relationship and hadn't reported the early signs, and didn't want to repeat that mistake.

I agree that we need a general strike in the U.S., but you're asking an unreasonable sacrifice of the people in the neighborhoods that are Trump's target: Columbia Hts, N. Capitol, Ledroit Park, Ward 8, etc...people who are barely scraping by cannot miss work, they have to pay the rent.

Reminder: Tariffs aren't paid by other countries, no matter what Trump says. A tariff is an import tax, raising the price of almost everything we buy. Tariffs are also regressive — taking a higher percentage out of the paychecks of working people than out of the wealthy.
