Not surprised. I see a lot of RW men embracing the "losing side, not convinced it was the wrong one" as a new "Lost Cause", a noble struggle against an oppressor. Even while Trump's GOP destroys America, aggrievement politics requires seeing themselves as persecuted heroes.

Actually, both Bushes were surprisingly OK with comics making fun of them. Bush Sr. actually had Dana Carvey in the Oval Office doing his impression on the White House phones. I think they, unlike Trump, realized that getting publicly upset at being ridiculed just makes you look weak and small.

Well, I've had it for years in one leg and can tell you that it sometimes feels like an itching inside the calf where it can't be scratched if that helps. Also, you become more susceptible to blood clots, so cross your fingers for that.
