If the T20 Blast schedule seems to be setting on 12 games from next year, surely this will create space in the calendar so as not cut the amount of Championship Cricket. I would like the season to start with the One Day Cup, so bowlers can gradually increase their workload. Any thoughts Mr. Dobell?

Did 11.6km yesterday on a largely undulating course around Thornbury in South Glos. Last 2k pretty much down hill. Have developed a little bit of soreness on my left instep, just below the ball joint. Taking it easy today with coffee, a good roast, strawberries & cricket. #Running #UKRunChat

Hear hear! I’ve been watching in Division 2 and have seen 4 Gloucestershire games so far this year. The outstanding highlight was the Cameron Green inspired run chase to overhaul Kent last week. The ups, the downs, the narrative of the game, the ebb and flow. Championship cricket is FABULOUS indeed!

As a Gloucestershire supporter, I did wonder just why Lancashire had hired Dale Benkenstein given he was in charge when Gloucestershire got relegated and then finished the next season bottom of Division 2. It’s a long road back to Div 1, but things are gradually improving.

A pretty fabulous day’s play. Aj made light work of the Kent tail, Bangers & Benny did a great job up until lunch. Kent fought back well in the afternoon and Green & Bracey had to dig in and grit it out. Which they did admirably and got the reward for their hard work in the evening session. 👏👏👏
