Bro you need to chill. I was using interregio and intercity, no pendolino. Popularity of Ε»abkas is a direct continuation of small store culture, but obviously it's a horrible thing how it impacts independent stores. It was a light hearted post caused by me missing not having to drive to buy bread.
I lived 20 minutes by bicycle from the center of Stockholm and there was no grocery store nor bakery in an easy walking distance from me. In general, forget about small bakeries and grocery stores, unless ran by immigrants in few rare places. It's about that, not the franchise.
I drove few trains in the past few days (in different regions) and all of them were surprisingly new and fresh. Other passengers seemed similarly surprised. Ε»abka as a franchise company is bad, but what I really meant is small store culture which is painfully not present in Stockholm where I live.
if I'm going to move back to Poland one day it will be because of the trains and Ε»abka stores
