Four Hs 293s were reportedly used against Finnish shipping during the Tornio landings in October 1944(Lapland War). Three of the bombs fell into the sea and one on land, creating a crater about five meters deep and 20 meters in diameter. The bombs were dropped from two Fw 200 aircraft.
