Well, it's not terribly small, nor is it inexpensive, but the Wolf countertop oven is one of the best things I ever splurged on for my kitchen. It has a convection function as well as a toast option. I use it every day

The sheriff in *my* Florida county is presently in jail on charges of racketeering. I saw on the news a couple of days ago that they wouldn't let him bail out ($1M, btw) because they couldn't verify his money wasn't obtained illegally.
He's been sheriff in Brevard County for over a decade. Says this type of crap all the time, and they keep re-electing him. This will probably guarantee him another term.
Only "celebrity" to ever grace our humble tea room in Woodland Hills (at least while I worked there) was Meredith McRae. I probably made her tea sandwiches. Naturally, the owner made an exception to her hard "no iced tea, it's not traditional" rule for her.
