A proposal to censor info about lawmakers is being sold as a safety measure. But it won’t protect them from anything but investigative journalism. Contact your senator to tell them to protect their safety — and everyone else’s — without sacrificing transparency and accountability.
This would require a constitutional amendment. Not just a simple law. And there's a reason amendments don't happen very often. They are extremely difficult to get done and can take decades.
